This course covers the essentials of Oracle's PL/SQL programming language.

Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to:

• Describe what PL/SQL is, what it is applicable to and why you would use it.
• Integrate SQL into PL/SQL
• Use the PL/SQL language to:
• Declare and use variables of different types
• Use mathematical, string and other operators
• Write PL/SQL programs that use conditions, loops and cursors
• Create user defined types
• Throw and catch exceptions
• Use arrays
• Write procedures, functions and triggers

This course is aimed at those who want to learn the basics of Oracle's PL/SQL language.

SQL knowledge to the level of our Introduction to SQL is required.
